Henry Heusken


A birthday lunch was had with Mr.Heusken today.

born Jan. 20 1832, died Jan. 16 1861.

Dutch translator for the American convoy of Mr. Harris, with the purpose of opening several more trade ports in Japan.  Mr. Heusken's story can be seen reinacted in Tezukawa Osamu`s 'Hidamari no Ki', on-air NHK BS summer of 2012.
